My Doppler Experience :)

I LOVED my doppler last time!!!!

The best place I have found that has top quality dopplers is sweetbeats(dot)net... I got one during my last pregnancy at 10 weeks and found the HB after about 5 min of trying.. once you get the hang of it and know what sound you are looking for it becomes easier and easier!

The reason why I love them is they have the ultra sensitive/static reduction probes.. that work on normal and heavier sized people... no offense to any skinnies out there

but alot of the dop's available to rent seem to only be very effecitve for those that have "very little insulation"

I am in the "overweight" catagory but still OK I guess but not slim by any means LoL.. and TMI but I have also lost 150lbs and have not yet had my tummy tuck so I have extra wrinkly skin in the abdominal area (eww yes LoL) but I want to complete my family before going for the tucks and nips yanno.. but in any event the extra skin adds to the difficulty of hearing the

Wow this is getting to be a novel LoL.. I guess I can just say I LOVED having a doppler last time, once you get the hang of it it's a breeze! ... and today is my birthday so I went and placed my order for another for this go around! Happy B-Day to me

They have a great deal right now also - prepay and get quite a savings.. if you prepay for a 4 month rental.. it is 72.00 $18.00 a month!!!! That is a GREAT DEAL! I got an additional tube of gel so 79.00 all together no tax no shipping.. so for 19.75 a month I have a bit more peace of mind.. worth every nickle!!!!!!!!!!

Only catch now is... yes there is always a catch huh?? Now they require a signed form from you OB.. he or she has to approve you use or purchase of an at home doppler... nothing major. But an added obsticle <shrug>

So ya get anything outta that novel??? LoL!! I say if it is in your budget and you are thinking about getting one DO IT!
