Default 32 week appt...

went pretty well. I've gained 10 lbs...bp is good...placenta has moved, but now my amnio fluid is high. So, they will be monitoring me closely. There are higher levels of premature birth with high levels, plus a higher chance of cord problems (like I need anything else to worry about.) They will also be looking a the kidneys. I'm measuring at 34 cm/weeks...probably due to the high levels of fluid.

I have another u/s next Tuesday to monitor the fluid level.

I go back in two weeks (the 14th) for my next OB appointment and then every week after that.

Kathy it sounds like good news mixed in with stressful news! I am sure that everything will work out fine, you will just have to worry for the remainder of your pregnancy. But you are on countdown now! Wow 32 weeks, why is it that other people's pregnancies seem to fly by? Good luck girlfriend.

I'm sorry you are dealing with that. I'm happy they will monitor you closely though. I hope that little boy stays in until he's ready.

I am sorry to hear about the extra fluid. How did your follow-up U/S go?
