Default Another newbie.......

Hi all! I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Stacey-I am new to SK. I am a military spouse with three children ages 11, 8, and 6. DH is stationed overseas right now and will be back stateside this summer.

I had a tubal ligation (tubes tied) after I had my youngest in 2001. I regretted it since that day. I had a tubal ligation reversal surgery in April of 2007. I did conceive but miscarried in July of 2007, but miscarried. I am now 14 weeks pregnant (after a couple days stopping b/c) with enormous fears as I'm sure you all can understand.

Anyway that's my story in a nutshell. I am looking forward to getting to know you all, and can't wait to be part of supportive board!

Stacey

Hiya,
There arent many posts here anymore which is a shame.
When I was pg with my son, now 3, the pregnancy after multiple miscarriages board was a great source of support for me, so I hate to see the boards so inactive now.
I'm pregnant again (5 months) but not quite so terrified now.
At any rate, you can breathe a sigh of relief now as miscarriage is far less common after the first trimester - you've already sailed through the rough bit. I know its really hard to relax and enjoy pregnancy after mc. Thats one of things has always annoyed me, I feel like it robs the joy from such a special time, replacing it with fear and anxiety. But on the + side after one mc your chances of another remain slim, and as you've made it so far, the odds are greatly in your favour of a completely normal healthy pregnancy. It helps if you have a really supportive dr or midwife, mine are brilliant, i have a scan about every 2 weeks but can go in at any time if i get really worried. You mention your husband is military, so I am assuming you have complete medical coverage?
I really hope everything goes well for you this time around.
cheers
