Help New~ Might have to have a c-section, nervous.

Hello everyone I'm new here. I am pregnant with my 4th baby (a girl), I already have a girl and 2 boys (in that order). All of my children have been born vaginally, they were all head down from the start.

I went to my OB appt. this past week (I'm 34 weeks today),and she is breeched. If she is still breeched at my next appt. (35.5 weeks along), then they want to talk about to me about an External Version.I'm really not sure I want to do this tough. I'm scared that something will happen to her. The OB said they would admit me incase something did go wrong. And I've heard it hurts, but I think it would put me into labor. When the midwife was feeling to see where she was i started cramping.

I don't want anyone to think I'm against c-sections,I don't look down on anyone who has them weather it is elective or not, it's every woman's choice, and every woman has to do what is right for them. I'm just scared to death of having to be cut.

I hope she flips before my next appt. but I just have this feeling that she won't (not being negative, it's because she's been head up since 25 weeks).

Would anyone here have an External Version done?? Plus any tips you can give me about c-sections, tell me how bad the pain is after wards, and what to expect would be greatly appreciated.
