Default Does anyone's hospital require classes for Dad to be allowed at the c/s?

My DH is so annoyed by this. I will be having my 4th c/s in July. DH has been at every single one of them. We are in a new area and different hospital. They require DH AND ME to come and watch a video about c/s or he can't be there. So pretty soon we will have to drag our 4 DC to the hospital to watch the video. I asked if we could come in seperately so we didn't have to bring the DC and they said we must watch it at the exact same time. They have you sign all the consent forms after the video. So if a woman doesn't plan the c/s, so her DH hasn't watched the video, he can't be in the surgery! I find that so sad!!! DH has been at all my c/s and none of them have been planned. (due to premature births, otherwise the last 2 would have been planned) I have no idea what will be on the video and can't imagine it's going to be useful. All my babies have been born at different hospitals and this is the first time we've ever had to do this. I was just wondering if anyone had heard of this requirement???
