38 week appointment

Hi girls,

Well my appointment went well this morning. BP is good, no protein, my weight is up some more...baby is doing great, still head down, measuring right at 38 weeks, his hb was 141 this morning. Although I'm sure it is creeping up right now, Mommy treated herself to a donut after her appointment. (Maybe that is why the scales are so high?)

So they finally checked me this morning...so tell me, is there some reason that it feels like they are looking for my tonsils when they do that? But the results are I'm 1 cm dilated, 50% effaced. Baby isn't engaged yet, but I'm sure with some more walking he will tuck himself down in there nice and tight. So we are making some progress towards having this baby.

I'm starting to think that this baby is going to come late after all DH and I have been worried about was very fast PTL with my family history. So it may be that this kid is going to give me 36 hour labor and be born in June.

But regardless, he is doing great! And that is all that matters to his Mommy!
