35 week appt
I went in for my 35 week appt today. The NST went well, which was a relief because they really didn't cooperate last week at all. Both babies heartbeats were reactive and strong. My doctor also did a quick u/s and a pelvic exam. I have one little head way down on my cervix, pushing very hard. The other head is low, but with them being stacked on top of one another and so squished, he couldn't tell for sure exactly how the bodies were postioned. It's just too hard to tell which leg/arm/stomach belongs to whom. If I go into labor and they still can't tell if the heads are indeed down, my doctor said they'll actually do an x-ray to check position. It is apparently a very low level of radiation and safe for the babies. He said my cervix is very soft, but not opening at all and tucked way back and up still.
I'm starting to get antsy and am getting ready to NOT be pregnant anymore, but realize that every day they stay in my belly they are getting bigger and stronger. I have an appt again for Monday when I'll be just shy of 36 weeks. We'll see what's happening then!
