Default 21.5 week ultrasound

So all in all, it was a pretty good ultrasound on Thursday (except I still have that complete placenta previa which hasn't moved on bit in the last 3 weeks). Placenta is still right there, completely covering my cervix and still making me nervous of course, but thankfully my cervix is still long and closed!! *phew*

Babies are doing great. They are now lying head to head transverse (they were head to toe transverse before) and babies were laying with their heads touching most of the time...it was so cute!! They were also kicking at each other the whole time...its funny, bc when I feel them "kick" I always think they are kicking me, but they are actually kicking at each other most of the time and I am feeling the other baby bounce off of the kicker (which results in them kicking back!) I love watching them on ultrasound, especially when they are "interacting"!!

Now, their weights.....the funny thing is I was JUST reading up in a pregnancy book about how much 21 week babies are "supposed" to weigh (it said 3/4 of a lb, so about ~12 oz). Well, baby A is measuring 1 lb, 2 oz and baby B is measuring 1 lb, 3 oz!! Kylie-my 10+ lber was 1 lb, 3 oz at her 21 week, 6 day ultrasound . Anyways, I am thrilled that babies are growing great (especially with how little I have been able to eat) and I figured placenta wouldn't be moving, so I am not too surprised by that. Also VERY reassured to hear that my cervix is long and closed...the longer I don't have to deal with bleeding from the complete placenta previa, the better.

My next ultrasound is August 11th, to check placenta and babies' growth.

Here are some pics (not the best quality since I took pics of pics):

Babies with their heads touching (there is a sac between them though, but you can't see that at all in this pic). baby B has the bigger noggin!

Baby A ("the gymnast" )
Yes, those are legs above his/her head in these 2 pics

Baby B (this is the one I swear will look just like my dh and my oldest daughter Kylie, due to the nose and mouth!) Baby is looking at us in the first pic.
