Newbie in Chicago
Hello everyone...Im mstracy1. As you know, I am new here and need all the support/feedback I can get. I am currently attempting to conceive, the problem is, I have fibroids. I have large fibroids. I have 5 fibroids that range in size from 6x7 to about 3x3. They are all in random places, although none inside my uterus. I have no children so this will be my first.
I have been trying to conceive for about a year and a half, however, to no avail, then the fibroid in the cervix was diagnosed. So now, after having that fibroid removed (it was in my cervix, thus preventing pregnancy), Doc is recommending that I try again before removing the others. He's not sure what will be of my uterus after removing the rest. So this is the beginning of my journey. Because my fibroids are big and growing, the largest one is on top of my uterus, and is approx 5 times the size of my uterus, I'm kind of on a timetable for this. Hopefully, it wont take long!
Im 32 years old, and while I do want children, I'm afraid of becoming a mom. Am I ready? Can I handle this? Im sure these are the questions any woman has when facing the same beautiful yet challenging change in their lives.
Any pregnancy with fibroid stories? What can I expect?
