new here! TTC in August

Hi! My name is Kelly. I am super excited to say that my dear husband have decided to TTC in Aug 2005! I am so excited that I have found this message board! I am going to need some direction, if you see me wandering aimlessly, please give me direction..lol

Hey Kelly! I'm new also! We started TTC in August and have become very frustrated lately. I just started provera a few days ago to speed up the process. How are you?

well I'll be getting off birth control around end of July/early August..plan on going to doc around then for a check up and everything and then we'll go for it, hopefully everything will work out fine! good luck for you!

Hi everybody! I'm also taking meds to 'speed things up"- I'm on progest. and clomid- we've been ttc for 2yrs now...but this is my 3rd cycle w/ clomid.

Sammy- are you ttc#1 ?

I have stopped taking BC in April. And have been trying since then to become preggo. This month (aug) will be the 4th month w/o BC. They say you should be able to get preggo after 3 complete cycles off the pill. Good luck girls! Tiffany

Hey girls! I am a newbie, too! I went of the BCP in April, we have been ttc #1 since then. I have also heard that it usually takes three months to get pg after coming off the pill. Four friends of mine have falled pg in either month 3 or 4. I'm going into cycle #4 - so maybe this will be it!! This last cycle was crazy and I thought I may have been pg, but AF showed five days late.

By the way, how does provera / clomid speed up the process?

Anxiously Awaiting- clomid helped me ( I'm now due in Jan) by getting me to ovulate more frequently. Without the clomid I ovulate, but very irregularly- I have all my life. So, the clomid is supposed to cause you to ovulate at a set time, enabling conception.

You should get a cycle ticker so that we can follow your cds.
