Looking for a cycle buddy- part 3
Girls, It says the other threrad was closed, so I thought I would go ahead and start a new one!!
Alana- I am really tired, like can't get out of bed in the mornings and ready to sleep by 8:00 at night. I have no energy at all and I have a bunch of cm still. I don't know I think I have become a pregnancy hyprcondriac (sp?) thinking everything that happens to my body is a pregnancy symptom! I need to get a grip! But now that I have started testing, it's not going to get any better until AF shows or I find out I am pg!!!!
Hope everyone has a great day!!! It is getting cold here again. I wish it would make up its mind! One day its sweaters the next its skirts and short sleeves!

Re: Looking for a cycle buddy- part 3
Hi everyone,
Can't believe we are on part 3 of our cycle buddies chat!
Thought I would just pop in to say that I am going out tonight. I have got to do a Body Shop party for someone. I hate doing parties on week nights as I am so tired at work the next day. However, can't pass up the chance of some extra money for the baby fund!!
Will miss chatting to you all tonight. Will speak to you all tomorrow.
Michelle - it's nice to have you back with us!
Take care,
Tamarin.xxx

Re: Looking for a cycle buddy- part 3
Hello girls! I just got home from work. I was pretty busy today preparing for Valentine's. I filled the cooler with soooooo many arragements. I tested this morning, of course it was a BFN. Tomorrow I will be 10 dpo, so hopefully I will get a deifferent result.
Kelly-No, I don't watch 24, but DH does. The chocolate sound sooo good. There is a chocolate shop down from my work. They make all the chocolate themselves from scratch & it is the BEST that I have EVER had! OMG, it's so good!
Tamarin-What is a Body Shop party?
Debra-We must be having the same weather.

Re: Looking for a cycle buddy- part 3
hi--finally a moment to rest. except for the final touches, i'm done w/lindsey's dress. i spent the rest of the day going through my mountain of a collection of stuff that i have made...getting it ready for my ebay adventure...can't wait to start the beginning of march. i'll be so thankful when all of that stuff is gone...i hate looking at it. as far as testing goes----i'm still ov testing and so far, the pink lines are not the same...at least that 2nd pink line was there today(it wasn't yesterday), so i guess that can count as an encouragement? i'm only on day 9 of cycle #4...probably have a few more days to go before I can really wear dh out w/bd...hehehe. ttc can be difficult......but it sure can be fun!!!! did my post go through last night? i'm unsure if it did or not. anyway, i had written about this wooden rocking horse that i found on ebay...s&h total was $17.40!! i just couldn't resist it. i had wanted to get one like it for the older kids when they were younger, but could never find one cheaper than $50. so now lindsey& sam have a rocking horse...and its something that will be cherished & kept back for the grandkids (if i'm that lucky). kelly, you had better watch it---w/my first pg, i had thought that i could eat anything that i wanted...i did weigh almost 200lbs!!!! i'm not kidding i was 194 when johnmichael was born. i still have to watch it when i'm pg..i gain weight too easily then. this last time i gained more than what i intended & my mw suggested that i cut out all starches & sugar and concentrate on protein. it helped slow the weight gain down and sam weighed 9lbs,10oz. my mw told me that when she was pg with one of her kids, she concentrated mostly on the protein and she gained only 18 lbs, but her son was a whopping 11lbs!! those first 2 wks were rough on me...i love potatoes and bread...but after that, i got used to it. come to think of it...its funny how w/ the last 2 pgs, i've been under the care of a mw, and both of those babies were the biggest (of my girls & boys). lindsey was 8lb15oz--biggest girl& sam was the biggest boy. oh...but chocolate!!!! what are you doing for valentine's day? i think dh is up to something. i'm going to make sugar cookie hearts& frost them w/CHOCOLATE frosting for the kids. for dh i'll do something a little different with his cookies---i have this huge heart shaped cookie cutter...i'll make about 3-4 huge cookies and put them together by layers of frosting, then frost the entire thing. dh mentioned something about dinner out and he's already bought me 2 prs of lacy stockings (1 black & 1 white)...i think he's been trying to look for something new that would go with them...he is VERY visual!...well...if i wear him out...its his own fault...he's asking for it by buying me these sexy things!!!! hehehe. i'm getting terrible

Re: Looking for a cycle buddy- part 3
speaking about baby clothes...i love the outfits that have come out over the years--it just makes those little chubby faces look more adorable. sarah used to have a bunting w/feet and it was in the form of minnie mouse--had the ears&tail, a couple of the kids had sweat outfits that made them look like bunnies and there was mickey mouse and a lizzard.have you seen the adorable photos by anne geddes? she dresses these little babies up to look like butterflies, peas in a pod etc....they're just gorgeous.

Re: Looking for a cycle buddy- part 3
its funny, but i really couldn't tell a difference between pushing out the 9lb10ozer and the 7lb 41/2ozer!!!.the sizes of my babies varied----JohnMichael---9lbs 3 3/4ozs, Benjamin -9lbs, Amber -7lbs 5 1/4ozs. Meagan- 7lbs 4 1/2ozs., Sarah- 7lbs 15ozs., Elijah-8lbs15 1/2ozs., Caleb- 7lbs 11ozs., Lindsey-8lbs15ozs., Samuel-9lbs 10ozs. my usual weight gain is 30-40 lbs ( not inc. first pg). i know--ebay IS addicting....i love those wooden toys. I wish that i could've mastered the art of woodcarving...the only thing that i can do is refinish furniture. anyway its interesting to see what sells well and what doesn't.

Re: Looking for a cycle buddy- part 3
Kelly-Where did you find the bib? I didn't see it online. You must have gone to the store. You lucky girl. Thanks for thinking of me and my little unborn, theoretical child. I really appriciate it, you are too sweet. I'm not pushing out an 11 pounder either! I don't even like meat that much, thank goodness! I too was addicted to ebay for a while. I finally got sick of going back and forth to the post office to ship stuff. But I did make quite a bit of money from a bunch of crap that I didn't want though.
Debra-The rocking horse sounds really cute. Let me kow when you get your stuff on ebay, I want to see it.
Ok, is this weird? My left boob doesn't hurt, but my right boob hurts a lot. Bizarre. DH is bringing home Outback tonight. YAY! I'm glad I don't have to cook. I feel like I make the same stuff over and over again. I need new recipies! I'm going to get a shower before Dh gets home. Talk to everyone later.

Re: Looking for a cycle buddy- part 3
outback???? i love their bloomin' onion...i'm hungry now, thanks, alana. dh isn't due home until around 6:30....maybe i'll make spaghetti....a big favorite here. i've heard good reports about selling stuff on ebay, but i had been sceptical. the lady that does our taxes is now involved in estate sales & ebay and she said that she would teach me how to do my taxes every 1/4. she does pretty well with it, so i guess there is some truth to it..it can't hurt to try.

Re: Looking for a cycle buddy- part 3
Debra-Spaghetti is my favoite!! Soooo good. And easy and inexpensive. Your supposed to report ebay stuff on your taxes? oops. hehe. I thought it was kind of like having a garage sale. Oh well. I've never had any problems with selling. I did pay for a brand new Burberry bikini that I NEVER received or was refunded for! I got ripped off by some company over in the orient. But I have bought many, many things and that was the only time that happened. My DH was very skeptical about the whole ebay thing, but it turned out to be fine, other than the bikini.

Hey ladies,
For those of you that have cats, here is a link from a local news station here in DC. The article discusses the dangers of pg women being around cat litter. I think that Alana may have mentioned something about it a while back.

Jen-I read the article! Geez that's scary! You can get it from gardening? I garden a lot. I wonder if I could get anything working at the flower shop? Hmmmm...something to look into. How was your day?

Re: Looking for a cycle buddy- part 3
I was addicted to Ebay for awhile over the summer until I got scammed. I won a bid for a Coach purse, paid for it and everything, just to find out the the seller was actually selling a wholesale list (a list of places that sold Coach items at wholesale prices). I reported it to Ebay and ended up getting a full refund. They kicked the seller off the site too. That was the only bad experience that I had though.
Pizza is my favorite food! I can eat it morning, noon and night! DH is working late so that's what I ordered for dinner. I thought that we would give the Pizza Hut dipping strips a try.
