Default hi there!

Hi all,

Just wanted to introduce myself ~ I'm 26 years old and we're ttc!

Been trying on and off for about 3 years, but with no success. Had a laperoscopy about 3 weeks ago to diagnose and remove endometriosis, so hopefully with that gone, things will "move" a little faster.

Been married for almost 4 years (in June) to my DH, who is just a wee bit older than me (about 13 years. He's 39) and needless to say, he ain't getting any younger!

After the lap, we decided that we're going to give it a go again, so went out and got the ovulation predictor kit (brand: Answer) and yesterday my test line turned a nice dark purple! So I called him asap and he was home within an hour (thank goodness he's a tech and works out on the road all day)! My line was/is purple again today, so we're just going to keep trying.

Doing the baby dance is hard for me (it physically hurts), which of course makes him feel bad, but it's what needs to get done to..well..have a baby (sometimes I say things that just make me go, well duh!).

It seems that everyone I know wants to know when we're going to get pregnant, and no matter how many times we explain that we're trying, but things just aren't going as planned, they keep asking. (right after we started ttc, one of his sisters got pg, then the other sister got married, her DH was in a major car accident and the next thing you know, their pg...ok, so I'm just a little jealous!)

Ok, so this got long, so I'll say "nice to meet everyone" and let ya'll go.

Sara

Hey Sara.. I'm 26 years old and we are TTC # 1 also!! I understand where you are coming from.. Seems like all your friends/relatives get pregnant right around the time when you are trying.. but I think that's just cuz you are focused on it and really want it! You really don't notice it when you aren't busy with wanting a baby! I wish you luck with conceiving. Hopefully you and your DH hit it right on time and it works this month!!

Hey Renee!

Thanks for the words of encouragment! AF is supposed to be here on the 20th, so we'll just keep our fingers crossed. (I'm running with the assumption that I'm not cause it's easier that way, but have felt "off" the past few days, so we'll see... )

I hope the very best for you and your hubby that things work out as quickly as possible!

Good Luck to you!

Sara
