I'm new here, so I guess I better tell you a little about myself, besides the plethora of information available in my siggie

I will try to be brief! I'm in my mid twenties, dh is in his late twenties and we've been married for 5.5yrs. I'm a medical tech, he's an engineer. We bought our first home in April of 2006 and are almost done redecorating and renovating. We have one furbaby, an 18 mo old Shepherd Mix we adopted one month ago.

After the birth of our "nephew" (the son of dh's best friend whom we refer to as his brother), we had a sudden surge in the desire for a baby we've had on the back burner for a long time. Finally we feel ready financially, mentally and emotionally.
