So I am new to this whole message board thing, and thought I would say hello to everybody. I am 28yrs. old and trying to conceive my first. My hubby and I have been trying on and off for about 2 years (mostly on). I was just wondering if anyone had any advice on this. I feel like I have tried everything and would like to avoid the hormone shots if possible.

I know it’s hard to go through TTC. It can be a long road with lots of ups and downs but worth every one of them in the end. I have been trying for many years and finally we have our first success. I know its scarey to look to med's to help, for us we really did not have too many options left as I have endometriosis really bad and the surgery for it was just not enough for us. We needed the extra help.

Have you tried charting? I know lots of women on here do and they find it very helpful to track when you O. The web site most use is: WWW.FertilityFriend.com It’s an online charting web site and it’s free. They also have a free online course you can take. I did this and I have to say I learn a lot and feel it we well worth it. I never made it to charting my first time though as I end up with a . This may help you pin point when your body O’s so you can time your BD’ing and make all the puzzle peaces come together at the right time.

Welcome to the boards!! I understand your frustrations. My hubby and I tried for over a year a few years ago and we just gave up. Decided that it just wasn't our time to have a baby. Now here we are a couple years later and we're hoping now is our time. Good luck. I think you'll find lots of help and support here.
