Hello, Hello
This is my first post here, and I'm glad I found this site! My husband & I are just starting to get serious about trying for our 2nd child. We conceived our daughter, Claira, on our 1 year anniversary, and are just absolutely blessed to be her parents. My husband was ready to begin trying to get pregnant immediately after she was born, while I've spent the last year learning how to be a mom/wife/cook/ housekeeper/full-time working woman.
During our first year of marriage, we did not use birth control. I had an anovulatory cycle 6 months after we were married and was on different hormones/birth control pills to get the continued bleeding under control. I joined an online fertility group and learned how to record my BBTemps and kept track for 4 months. When we weren't pregnant immediately using that method, my husband became very frustrated . We married late in life (both 33, now 36) and when I finally relaxed and stopped counting, we got pregnant.
So, now that we'd like to have another child, I'm somewhat hesitant to begin taking & recording temps, etc. I was only on bc pills postpartum for 6 weeks. I have never regularly taken them and my body does not react to them well. I look forward to being part of this site - reading & sharing our journeys and learning as I go.
