Default Cycle buddies - 25!

Hi girls!

Alana - that sling is so cute and trendy,Elliot looks really comfy in it! My sling is different, but I have used it loads although Natalia is getting a bit big for it now. You have done well with losing your pregnancy weight by the look of you in the photo - well done!

Michelle - We have got teething rings to put in the fridge to cool, also got bonjela teething gel to rub onto Natalia's gums and calpol medicine which contains paracetemol. Look forward to seeing more professional photos of Braunwyn!

What a stressful day I had yesterday with the photos! It is so difficult when they are this age to time it just right. I made sure that Natalia was fed and changed beforehand, but then when we got to the photographer there was a queue, so by the time it was our turn Natalia was tired and teasy! So,I said that I would come back after lunch and she had had a sleep.
To cut a long story short, after she had had a sleep, she woke up hungry,so I fed her and then she was sick on her beautiful pink dress! Before lunch, there was a lovely lady taking the photos and after lunch when I tried again it was a man doing it. He had a big beard and Natalia would just take one look at him, stick her bottom lip out and cry!
Anyway, I think there might be a couple that she was slightly smiling in,but we don't get to see them until 27th April.
Natalia had her 3rd lot of immunisations today,so she has been a bit fretful this afternoon. I also had to take her to see the physiotherapist about her boots. She still has to keep them on for another month and I have been given exercises to do with her feet at every nappy change. If after a month there is a good improvement, then she will just have to wear them at night. You have to gradually cut down the time she wears them, otherwise if you just stop the telepeze could come back. It seems like such a long process!
Hope everyone else is well? The board has been very quiet! Any of you doing anything nice this easter weekend?
love,
Tamarin.xxx

Hi guys- I think he'll be calm for a few secs while I check in w/ you all...

Tamarin- wow sounds like you had quite a day! I remember taking dd for pics and it was a totally wild time...she was so moody and teething and able to walk...so she was not having any parts of taking pics! I hope all goes well this next month so that she can be rid of the boots in the daytime! What a pain that must be for you all. And please tell me- how you manage to do all these things - I'm still so sleep deprived that one outing a day is about all I prefer to handle! Although, I have to take dd to so many places it hardly works out that way.

Alana- nice sling! and I agree- you look great! Tell Elliot to slow down on the weight lifiting- his arms are so big already! lol

Michelle- adorable pic of ds! I love the pose- she looks grown up like that! lol

As for us ...ds was just tricking me- he's back to 2-3 hrs max in a row at night! It's making me - I'm going back to pumping so dh can help me every now and again. He's totally teething, too- I can't believe so early...he's gnawing on everything - including me when he nurses! Can you say OUCH!!! OMG- He's learned to pick up his rattles and toys, so he likes putting those in his mouth, too. He will gum anything in his reach! lol

Alana-here's a pic of one of my 3 slings! lol I had trouble finding one that I really loved...this is the one...I was told you can nurse in them..but w/my big old there is nO way...too awkward for me.. But I do wear it around the house at least some part of each day...keeps him calm and he usually goes to sleep after a little while.

and here's a vest /pants that I tried on him over a little onesie...my little man

Hey everyone! Just thought I would update you all on my progress. I had my 36 week appt. yesterday. I am 70% effaced but cervix is still closed . She said the baby was for sure head down and positioning herself quite nicely. Lots of people have told me she has dropped & I am starting to see it now! I go back to the dr. Monday. I really would love for her to come sooner than later. I know I need to get as close to 40 as I can but with dh's grandma's condition I am just getting more anxious and stressed.

His g-ma has been diagnosed with overian cancer but they are not going to treat it b/c she is so old. So basically they are going to try to keep her comfortable until the end. I am so afraid that her end and Lily's beginning are going to clash! KWIM! I do not mean for that to sound insensative but dh will fill obligated to be in both places and it will be hard on him. Unfortuantly if that is the case someone will get shafted and pissed at him and that could cause major tension with his mom. I do not want that since we are moving up there soon. UGH!

Alana--You look great! Love the sling!

Angie--You too are looking fab! Tino is so cute in his little suit

Tamarin--I hope the pics turn out well! We are supposed to get the ones we had done Monday back next Monday. I will have some to post! I hope they turned out well!

Michele--What type of pump do you have? Do you like it?
Hello everyone else! How are things going?

Hi girls! Thanks for the compliments everyone.

Tamarin-We took Elliot to get his Easter pics a couple weekends ago and he cried too. It's hard when they are still little I guess. I hope they turn out good for you. And good luck with her shoes.

Angie-Hold on to something!!!! If the wind blows, you might blow away! LOL! Good grief you look skinny chica! That's so awesome. I'm hatin'...still got a ways to go. Tino looks adoreable in his little outfit. I LOVE dressing E up. It's like my favorite thing to do. Poor kid. LMAO!!

Amanda-Hang in there!!!! I know you are ready to have that baby! Rightfully so, I might add. I know the last month is rough, but your almost done!!! Woo-hoo!!!! Don't sweat not being dilated b/c you efface and THEN you dilate (with your first baby), so you are making GREAT progress.

Okay....I have something to tell you guys. It's okay if you laugh b/c it IS kind of funny. It makes me sad too, but it's still sort of humerous in a weird way. Anyway, Elliot has always had these 2 little dents on his torso. they are tiny and I had no idea what they were, they just look like little tiny dents, no big deal. DH always kids around and says they are from me poking at my belly while pg. Well, when we took him for his 2 month appt and shots on Monday, the dr. was examining him and he said "Oh...looks like he has extra nipples." I was like, excuse me? Did he just say what I think he said. Me and DH just looked at each other like, HUH? At the moment though I was too worried about the shots he was about to get so I didn't really ask him any questions or anything about them. He just said that it happens and there was no need for concern. So there you have it. My kid has extra nips. Weird, huh. We decided not to tell anyone about it b/c we don't want him to be teased about it. We'll get them removed if they start to show up. They don't look like anything right now, just teeny little dents. No one has even ever noticed them other than me.

Tamarin, sorry the pics didn't go as you had planned, but I have learned since becoming a mum, that nothing goes as I plan anymore.

Angie, girl, you look great! Love the pic of Tino in the vest!

Amanda, 70% effaced already? Thats pretty good for a first time mum! My pump is a First Years dual electric and I love it!

Here's some news...I have been able to relatch Braunwyn to the breast. Just started again today and she is doing well. She gets a little flustered sometimes, but overall she is doing well. I am pretty excited, I really wanted to keep breast feeding, but I was unsure if she would relatch since she has not been on the breast since she was 4 weeks old. Wish us luck!

Amanda- Oh girl! I feel for you..you are on serious countdown mode....there is nothing anybody can say that will make the last month better...but try to hang in there...and don't stress like you already are. My one tip is to sleeeeeeep while you can! As for dh..I think everybody will understand the situation he is in...hopefully nobody will judge him for handling all the situations as he does... sorry to hear of his g'ma

Alana-hang on to something- hardy-har-har! I have sooooo far to go it's ridiculous! But we are getting there..slowly but surely. And 2 little dents...I'm glad it's just something cosmetic..knowing my Alana buddy- you were probably obsessing and thinking something awful!

Michelle- that is awesome news! I hope nursing goes well this go -round!

Tamarin- for Easter we're going to my mom's ...it's her bday on tuesday..so we're making it a 2-fer. We're having a brunch and I'm going to attempt to get a cake done for her. We'll see if it works out!

Well..bad news for us last night..my cousin is in the hospital w/diabetes - her level was at 600! ...and my dad called us hysterical..he found his aunt( that raised him like she was mom) deceased in her home. The neighbors called him saying they hadn't seen her for a few weeks..so long story short he went to her home in San Francisco and found her in the home...so it's a rough week around here. I'll ttyl

Elliot slept through the night!!!!!!! Woo-hoo!!! I still woke up automaticly at 4ish b/c that's when he usually wakes up, but he was still snoozing. He slept from about 10pm all the way until 7am! Incredible! Probably just a freak accident, but MAYBE it'll be the start of more sleepful nights.

I hope he keeps it up! Valentino did well again last night..woke up once to nurse and then slept until this am at 7...not too bad! I couldn't sleep after I fed him , though...I'm used to getting less sleep- can't win for losing!
