Sorry to hear about your dog. I'm glad he's ok! Vet bills are a pain in the butt! We've had a ton with all we've needed to do to keep this pets ready to travel to Japan back & forth.

Ok ladies....any day now one of you is going to have a baby! It's so hard to know who will be first. Well we do know that atleast one will be here by the 24th. That's the day right Michele?

Brandon had an appt yesterday with the Pediatrician. She wanted to see him a week early for his 1 month appt so that she could make sure his circumcision was healing good. So even though he was only 2 weeks 5 days yesterday..we won't go back until he's 2 months old. Anyway, everything was great. He's growing a lot. He weighed 9 pounds 7 ounces yesterday. His head has grown & his length too. He's high up in the % for length...& pretty average for weight & head size. So maybe he'll be a tall guy. Who knows though.. He's so little it's hard to really know anything. Things always change. Oh & his circumcison is healing nicely.

I'm watching Young & the Restless & trying to get this kid to take a nap. I really can't get much done at all. He wants to be held all the time & doesn't want to go to sleep unless he's attached to my boob.

It looks like we won't be in Japan this year. It will be cool to be closer to home of course...but honestly..if we had the option to go to Japan again we would do it. More $! But we'll adjust to life here & there will definitely be some pro's to that.

Ok I think that's all for now...other than I'm REALLY ready to lose this weight! AGH! I want to go to the gym..but they probably won't let me until 6 weeks PP. I need to get my hair done too.. I'm feeling like I look like such a slob! Yuck.

Oh & by the way... I had NO stretchmarks up until I went into labor...& I got a few really low on each side of my stomach from PUSHING! My husband noticed them when I was pushing & pointed them out. I said "Oh my gosh..I got those from pushing! And he said "Yep!" And my midwife said.."No you probably just didn't notice them before.." Well you would think that was the case..but it's not. The day before I went into labor we were looking at my stomach & I said "Well can I officially say that I made it through w/o stretchmarks..or do I have to wait until he's born?" And my husband said "I think you have to wait" And sure enough . What is up with that? And I made the ones on the left a little worse by itching them. They itch SO BAD! I'm so mad at myself. And I'm hoping they fade soon.

Cookie, yup Tuesday's the big day! Monday night for cervidil, and the Pitocin starts Tuesday. I'm getting soooooooo excited now!
OMG did you see my belly in the sideways pic with dh? I'm stretched from here to there! The whole belly from hair line to just under my boobs.
I just think of them as gifts from the baby.

Man, my dog threw up again. At least I think it was him that did it. The vet said to bring him back if he continued to yack, so he has an appt. tomorrow at 11:30. I wish they would just take an x-ray or something. I knew there was something wrong. DH is all anal about them taking an X-ray since he owns an X-ray business...he wants to do it himself. Problem is he doesn't know what normal dog anatomy is supposed to look like. I guess you could tell it there was like a giant, solid rock or something stuck, but otherwise how could he tell? So I have to deal with him whining about that. With all the dumb things he spends money on, don't whine about Tucker needing an X-ray! Puh-leeze! Anyway, sorry to start venting so early.

Looks like I'm pregnant yet another day. UGH! Come on outta there little guy!!!!

Ha! Still here...and still pregnant! I'm leaving for my appt in a few minutes..so wish me luck. Maybe she'll accidentally pop the water bag and have to admit me! lol Dd is getting ready to go w/her dad -but he wants to keep her until wednesday...so I'll be here by myself going cuckoo. He's being decent though, and said he'll drive her to the hospital if I go into labor between now and then. That statement alone almost PUT me into labor..he's not usually very kind. Other than that...

Cookie- glad to hear you are doing well...I agree ...I'm so ready to workout, too!

Michelle-I have lots of gifts leftover from dd...ds didn't give me any new ones...but then again...there's no room for any more! UGH!!

Things are good here! Yeah Friday! We are going to a basketball game tomorrow! I love sports so it will be a good weekend.

Hola chicas! I just got back from the dr..she said I'm at a great starting point...already dilated (sp?) to 3-4- so I consider that to be very good news But ...of course I could be like this for another 2 weeks. She mentioned inducing- but she said they would only do that no earlier than 7 days after my due date. So....I'm still for a natural birth.

...well..ctxs still coming all night last night ..and still..but now they are anywhere from 11-27 min apart- but at least they are still coming. I slept for about 4 hrs last night..and then I've been up...about to take a nap....aaaaaaaah...I wish they'd get closer together or my water would break or something!!! Dh is a total mess! lmao..but I figure at this rate it could be today, tomorrow or next week! lol Keep your fingers crossed guys! I want him OUT!!

okay..just got up from a nap and they're at 9 min apart- for the past 45 minutes-but they are still mild ctxs...so??? but they are still coming...! We're heading out for a bday party...(and it's close to my hospital) so hopefully I'll end up at the hospital tonight! I'll check in w/you all in the am if I'm still home! ttyl

well, decided to stay around here afterall...the ctxs are still 9 min apart- exactly...and it's been like this for around 4 hours or so....I swear..this little guy is taking his sweet time We went walking at some outlet stores for about 2 hours...so hopefully that'll help them to keep coming ~

Not much here, really tired. No ctx today, but my back and hips are killing me. Been cleaning like a fool! Including taking the top of the stove apart to clean. Weirdo!

OH how exciting Michelle- I totally forgot your shower was today! Can't wait to see pics of all the friends...and GOODIES!

Alana- the contractions are STILL 9 minutes apart...2 came a little quicker ( 7 minutes) but then right back to 9 min apart...all night- and still now. I slept great...and when I got up to go to the bathroom I stayed awake to check the timing...and still 9 min apart- wth? The ctxns aren't painful, but uncomfortable...which is why I can sleep through most of the night. I called the advice nurse and she said they are definitely not b/h ctxns because mine have a definite pattern and aren't random or sporadic...( yeah- going on 48 hours now! ) So.....I wait and wait...but I still would rather be like this then waiting for them to start kwim? I'm on a total cleaning rampage right now- trying to get my mind off the wait. So far so good..and I'm assuming by the time I get to hospital I'll be dilated all the way if not close to it...so don't uncross your fingers for me just yet...this looks like it's going to be a looong ride! lol ttyl-
