Default Hi...Borderline B/P at 12 weeks

Hi.

I had my second prenatal appointment yesterday and my OB said that my blood pressure was borderline and they would have to watch it.

My bp has always been rather low so this was quite surprising. I guess it could be that my bp was inching up even before I got pg and I just never noticed it. But I am worried that it is caused by the pregnancy and it might get worse.

I'm trying to remain calm and not worry too much about this but I keep imagining the worse. So, I'll be hanging out on this board some, checking out the links, and asking questions.

One question I have...should I be exercising (walking)?

Stressedmama - I've been reading your posts and noticed your bp was high early on in the pregnancy. How are things going now?

Thanks!
