Complications of Circumcision
Written by nurses of what they see , many times on boards parents come out with more complications, trapped plasti-bell, bleeding penis, loss of glans, severe case of penile adhesions -but when they see it visually happen to other people -they don't realize that is the Risk/Side Effect of Circumcision but consider it oh I'm sorry that happened to you and your family or people just ignore the fact of oh this kid is having trouble with his circumcision.
Then they go on saying that never happened to them and they would still plan on doing that even a mom who lost her child to a circumcision hemorage said she would still circ another boy because people believe the complications of circumcision are a FLUKE as in just a surgical error but you would think after many circ's performed within every 5 minutes on the hour they would not have errors right ?
It's like saying it just happens but circumcision is more commonly performed than many other surgeries in the world especially right slightly after birth!
Your could have around 1-4 kids 2 kids could have assumed problem free circumcision issues , number 3 has obvious circumcision issues - then you don't want to repeat it so 4 doesn't get circ'ed.
You have to recall that in phrases like AAP it states Potential Benefits even the UTI Reductions states a Potential Reduction only in the first year of life Meaning Baby Age not past 1 yr and it doesn't say it Prevents it just says potential which along with AAP says this surgery has a potential to have risks and compilications.
So I wonder why at times when there is a Talk of Potential benefits people assume there are Full Life Benefits but when you use the term with risks/complications it's like they going those are rarely there so in ways I do not get that because it's like the same word but it's like they miss the word Potential next to Benefits and they see Potential next to the Risks/complications from Circumcision.
