Got a Positive Yesterday

I just found out I am pregnant yesterday. I have mixed feelings because of my age. I'm 35, will still be 35 when the baby comes in March. Part of me feels Iike I shouldn't have a baby at 35 even though it's not that unusual anymore. I guess the other thing is I have issues with my weight and just would like to be a younger, healthier mom. I am happy about it too though. I always felt our family wasn't complete, I have a feeling I might get my girl, but will be fine either way.

Hi! Congrats and welcome to the board!! What's your name and your actual due date so we can get you added on our list? I know what you mean about the age thing, but there are so many women out there having babies alot older then we are so hey!! We can do it too!!! So happy to have you on board here with us. I'm Amie, EDD 3/1/09 which was my mom's birthday. She passed away in 2004.

Hi, welcome and congrats. I am 37 and have 8 year old twin boys. I sometimes think about how hard it will be to start things over again but then I think about the joy a new baby will bring to our lives. I'm hoping for a girl this time also.
