Depends how far along you are really. As far as actual pre-scription medication I would bet the best they will give you is some form of codine and tylenol. I was given hyrdrocodone and also a beta blocker once I was further along and they knew my baby was going to be big.

As far as meds from the local drug store. Tylenol , Motrin, and you can take excedrin but not if your in your 3rd tri-mester or have a high risk of pre-term or miscarriages since aspirin thins the blood.

I have suffered with migraines since I was a child and had them 10' x's worse during my pregnancies so I totally feel your pain. However I am not a doctor and really reccomend calling your OB office and talking to a nurse to get a list of medications you can take at your local drug store and if they are too bad see your OB he can prescribe you something safe for you and what term you are at in your pregnancy

With all of the new medications available on the market today, I would be very surprised that your doctor would prescribe anything with codeine in it with you being pregnant.Doctors were more likely to prescribe medications with codeine and other narcotic prepartions a couple of years ago, even up to year ago, but since the guidelines have changed so ONCE again.(as it seems to do every few years), and the so called wise thinking medical professionals think that they know so much more than we who suffer.
It is hard to really offer very much advice not knowing how far along you are, how long you have had migraines, what you have tried, ect, ect, ect.... .You need to inform your OB-Gyn of your migraines, but he is going to advise you to keep a journal, so do it first, see when they occur, how long they last, how bad they are at onset, what makes them better, anything make them worse.Go to WEB md, they have a few ideas as well that I may not have covered.
As I am sure you can tell I have been in your shoes and unfortunately lets just say those migraines were my better days! The ones that I have now NEVER go away, so count your blessings! I would love to be back in your shoes once again, where they were once pretty bad migraines, but at least they went away, and no the ones that I have now are not re-bound headaches.I have been to the top Headache specialist in the country and have finally found one that can help me to live with it, but so far they haven't been able to get rid of them.

This website is helpful to look up certain medicines.

Drugs in Pregnancy : SafeFetus.com

But I would definitely check with your doctor for medicines that they recommend.
