Icon9 I need help! Please do not laugh :(

Ok, here goes. I have had my period since I was 13, and since then it has ALWAYS been on time. Always 21-22 days apart and ALWAYS 5-7 days long. Well within the last 3 months - give or take - I had two periods that were 6 WEEKS apart from the last and they only lasted for a day and then spotting for a day or so..and now I just got my period two days ago and it is already almost gone! Could I be pregnant?

It's not at all uncommon for a woman to spot or have 'false periods' during pregnancy. However, there are also a myriad of issues that could be causing irregular periods too. Why not take a preganancy test and put your mind at ease?

As Jennifer suggested, try taking a pregnancy test. If you find out that pregnancy isn't the cause I would suggest asking your Dr. There may be some other issue causing your periods to suddenly become irregular. Stress, sudden weight gain or loss could also be causes.

Stress is also another reason that periods can change! Like the other girls said, take a pregnancy test.
