Tell my why I deal with this at all. . .
SO today was my son's one month appointment, and his father wanted to attend. So, ok he comes and picks us up in his new truck. We go to the doc's. Have an uneventful appointment. Good weight gain. Good stats. He didn't cry too much when he got his hepatitis shot. And so we stop by McDonalds on the way home. I order chicken nuggets and proceed to pull out my $ to pay for them, and baby's father says he'll pay so I let him. We get the food and pull off and I , who have not eaten all day (it's now 3pm), proceed to get my food from the bag and eat. So idiot-hole baby's father goes "There's no eating in my truck". I look at him like the a$$ that he is and continue to eat my food and remind him that I haven't eaten all day. He goes "So you're just gonna disrespect me like that?" I ignore this completely as I am livid. But for my son, I would have went off on him at this point. Instead I'll save my comments for the next time we speak on the phone b/c I can easily shelter Julian from that conversation. But what I really wanted to do is tell him where to go and how to get there. For the lack of what he has done for this child, he is lucky I deal with him at all. Julian and I have been getting around town just fine w/o him any other time via my parents, or b4 the car was down, by me driving, and we'll continue to do just fine.
