single expecting twins

Hello ladies nice to meet all of you. I'm so glad i found this site its great! I am 24 single with 2 kids both girls 5 and 2. And just found out Im expecting twins on Oct.12. Im 7 wks. I had an u/s and I heard both heartbeats. It really shocked me to see twins. I will have four children to raise by myself. Anyone with advice I'd love to hear it.

Thanks for the reply! Yes twins 7wks. I had an u/s and heard both heartbeats that was cool! Your baby is precious! Enjoy it because they grow so fast!

Congrats! Sorry I don't have much advice this is only my second child. I'd say pace yourself and put your kids first and you can't go wrong. Anything family and friends can do to help would be great too.

I am a single mother of 5, ages 13 down. My youngest is two.... I am expecting again, I wasn't expecting to be single, but I am nine weeks and bigger than when I had my twin boys who are now 11.
It is hard.. don't fool yourself. Yes I love my children, I went back to college and will graduate this summer but its hard.

Congratulations on the twins! I bet you are so excited, even though you must be a little scared too. Just take it one day at a time and you will get through. BLESSINGS--Here's to a wonderful pregnancy!!!

Thanks for all the feedback. I go to doctor tomorrow. All the tests its crazy! Its like double the tests with twins. Yes my other two kids are the world to me and I know the twins will fit right in. I am really scared especially not knowing what to expect with twins, but, my mom had twins i have twin sisters so my mom has given me advice. Mostly people tell me start buying stuff now especially diapers!

I had my twins and raised them by myself for the first four years. You can do it!! My best advice is to accept help when it's offerend and don't be afraid to ask for help!!! Good Luck on a H&H pregnancy.

I too am due in October! My first appointment is tomorrow! Two of my friends swear that I'm having twins!?

So now I'm so

my OB will enlighten me tomorrow with that news!! eeeks

Welcome to single moms, yes I would say start shopping now, I've already started that and I am only having one (though the u/s tech scared me saying she couldn't rule out a second). Congrats!
