Default C-section scheduled for. . .

I got a call from my doctor's office today to let me know that I have to come in for bloodwork on Feb 14th because my c-section has been scheduled for Feb 16th! Yay! I am soooooo ready for this part (being pregnant) to be over! Oh, and at my appointment yesterday I was 1.5 cm dialated, not that it matters, lol.

OMG Mel!!! YAYYYYY, another new baby on our board (and an end in sight for you) I know you are soooooo excited, I still remember the feeling of wanting so bad for it to be over and to meet my little one. You said your dialated but what is the main reason for the c-section, basically if you would happen to go into labor yourself before your cs date will the let you deliver vaginally? Would you want to? Our kids will only be about a month and a half apart. I wish you all the luck in the world and cannot wait to meet your little one!!! You and baby are in our thoughts and prayers. Oh BTW do you have a name picked out yet, outfit to bring baby home in, nursery done, hospital bag packed? Please share if so...

Also let me say real quick take these last 2 weeks and eat ANYTHING/EVERYTHING you want, that one thing Im so glad I did. Becasue food tastes sooo much better when your pregnant and after I had Kaaliyah I have either NO appetite or NO time to eat. Enjoy while you can. LOL

Kristen and Kaaliyah

Thanks Everyone!

Kristen- U're soooo right I can't wait. This being pregnant thing , I'm over it! lol! But they probably wouldn't want me to deliver vaginally b/c I have a large fibroid, although my doctor has said that women with larger fibroids than mine have delivered successfully . I do have a name picked out. Baby will be named Julian. And my dad & mom are finishing up the nursery today. My dad is in there laying the carpet now! After that he'll put together the crib. And then my mom will touch up the paint trim amd put the border up and we'll be all done. As far as the outfit I have two picked out. I'll post a pic of them for u guys to see when I post the pics of the nursery tomorrow! Oh, and I just went to Friendly's and had a great lunch and a biiiiiiiig ice cream sundae!

Killiangirl- I can't wait to find out the sex of your baby! I'm excited for you as well! U have any mother's intuition about it? ( Don't worry I had NONE! Really though I had a pink lil bean in here lol)

Mel, I LOVE the name Julian it is so cute. And I'm happy to hear the nursery is almost finished, cant wait to see some pics. What theme are you using? I will try and post some pics of Kaaliyahs room sometime this week, we used a Bunny theme for her room since I collected bunnies when I was little.

MMMMmmmmmm Friendly's sounds so good, when I lived in Harrisburg a year ago my ex worked there and I would go see him almost everday and eat for half price!!!! Where I live now we dont have one...I sure do miss it. But atleast one of us get to enjoy it!!! Other than that how are you feeling? Hope all is well!

That is a great name Melanie. This pregnancy is different than with my son so I am hoping for a girl and most my friends are saying the same although I think they want me to have a girl as much as I am hoping for one too.

Yahhhh bet you can't wait to meet baby!
I know when they set my induction (after i was almost 2 weeks overdue) I couldn't wait, then the big day came and i was TERRIFIED! ! but it's nice when you know the time frame in which baby will be born!
That is a very cute name, Julian!!!
