hope everyone had a great one! we went to my parents house for dinner and Lily made BOTH of her cousins cry!! She's such a bully. It was a fun day, though!

I was so sick, ugh. I was fine when I got up, but after church it was raining outside and we had to run to the car... I guess the combination of wind, and cold rain, and running triggered a migraine. (which stinks since I can't take any medications because I'm pregnant.) On the way home DH had to pull over so I could get sick. I ruined the whole day... We were supposed to take the MIL out for lunch, and instead I ended up in bed with the lights out and blankets over my head. Lilly was so upset that she locked herself in her room for the afternoon. I finally managed to get back up around suppertime but I still wasn't 100%. Lilly made me a "special" dessert with supper (with melted candy bar, bananas, strawberries, and I think it was whipped cream) and it looked so gross it turned my stomach again! But I managed to eat it, and gave her a big thank-you, and so we were ok again.

It wasn't much of a mother's day in that I didn't get to spend time with my kids... I did get some beautiful hand-made gifts and cards from the little girls, and an actual phone-call from the step-kids (dss actually called me "mom"), and DH bought me 2 new motherhood Willow-Tree figurines.
