Exclamation Infantile Spasms

A few weeks ago I was nursing Ryan and he was falling asleep. He starting shaking/jerking and after doing a bunch of searching I figured it was a shudder attack (search it on youtube). Nothing to worry about.

Tonight he was sleeping in his swing when he started making strange movements that just didn't look right and freaked me out. DH didn't like it either. It happened a few times, a few seconds each time. He would arch his back and his arms would jerk and his neck which was turned to the side, would stiffen even more to the side and his breathing wasn't normal. But after the 3rd or 4th time DH grabbed him out of the swing and tried to wake him. He kinda looked at DH and went right back to sleep, he's been sleeping in daddy's arms ever since and it hasn't happened again.

So, while it kinda made me think of West's syndrome, I don't know what to do. I can hardly explain it other than it just didn't look right. We're trying to convince ourselves that it was just a funny sleep issue, like when you wake up with a start when you dream you're falling. When I google the symptoms for infantile spasms it says it doesn't usually happen while asleep.

I think I'll be taking him to the pediatrician, what do you all think? My mommy instinct isn't happy right now.
