Hi All,

I'm new to this board. I was supose to get my period today but haven't. I took a HPT 2 days ago and it was neg. I just went of BCP the end of January and have had unprotected sex all month - hoping to get PG!!!! I have had symptoms the last 2 weeks like very sore nipples, pimple like bumps around my nipples, and have had cramping starting yesterday - thought it was my period by nothing yet? I also have some bloating and gas. Do you think I'm pregnant. I have also gained 5 pounds this month? Do you think that's from going off BCP?? I really want to be PG? Am I crazy for thinking all these things are symptoms? Please help!

I have never gone off BC pills so I can't tell you what to expect in that aspect. Test again in another week and if its still negative you could call your doctor and see what they think. Its possible to be pregnant but some reason it wont show up on a HPT. They can do blood work to be sure. Also might help you get your period back on track.

It's fairly normal to have a few long cycles when you first stop bcp. That might be what is happening in your case. Do you have an idea of when you O'd this month? Also, if you tested two days before your period was due, it might have been too early to get a + on the test, so there are a couple of things that might be going on. I would wait a few more days and try retesting if AF doesn't show. Wishing you all the best!

You could be and you also might not be. BCP can mess your system up. Hope you are able to find out soon if you are PG or not. Keep us posted.

Yea!!!!!! I took the PG test this morning BFP ++++++ Due date will be Nov 6th 2005!!!
