Icon9 New here w/ a few questions...

Hi,

We have been on a semi-TTC break for a few months, but when I had some slippery wet CM a few days before 12/31, and then had EWCM on the night of 12/31 we decided to take advantage (this doesn't happen often, I am extremely irregular)... Anyway... I am assuming by having the EWCM on 12/31 that I O'd either on 1/1 or 1/2... but we had not BD'd at all for that week prior (due to both of us being sick) and then didn't again for a few days... so basically our only "hopeful" BD experience was late 12/31, early 1/1... there was no more EWCM during the day 1/1, possible EWCM on the evening of 1/1 (but could have been "leakage," not sure)...

Anyway - ever since 1/2 I had extremely sore breasts (I realize implantation could not have occurred yet at that point, so I assumed it was just O breast soreness)... anyway - it continued clear up until TODAY & then just basically went away - the soreness was actual just putting on a shirt, bra...etc., now I have to actually touch my breasts to see, but it is pretty much non-existent...

However, starting last night I have had slight nausea - not extreme, no food aversions..etc., just a touch of nausea, and only in the evening time (both last night and tonight)...

I had slight cramping - very light cramping start tonight...

My usual only warning sign AF is coming is my "mood" I am not agreeable & I am always right & get my feelings hurt very easily... snappy, bitchy...etc. You get the idea - otherwise I don't get physical signs until the actualy day AF starts... I haven't really had the mood issue...

So, my question is - is it safe to assume my 2ww wait is over since my boobs stopped hurting? and I should just expect AF to start within the next couple of days (I am assuming the witch will be here no later than Monday)...

Any insight, opinions, judgments...etc.

If I am not pg this time around we are going full throttle w/ visiting an RE...etc. and figuring out why my AF is so extremely irregular (I am good at diagnosing myself, I am assuming annovulatory is my only problem - have had blood work & ultrasounds in the past w/ everything looking fine)...

Thanks for reading my novel of a few questions... and I look forward to any responses!! Thanks so much!

Hi Joycelyn,
well lets see, when we ovulate, the egg has 24 hours to become fertlized...
where as the sperm can live up to 5 days,3 being the norm, its just a mattter of
perfect timing, you ask about your two week wait being over, it could be just "pms"
but do remember in the early -early stages of pregnancy sometimes symptoms come and go, not trying to get your hopes up, just letting you know the possibilities...
YOU could take a hpt on Mon., but it may be soon for a postive if you are pg...
best way to tell right now is just to play the old waiting game with af...
good luck to you, best wishes,&keep us updated...

Well, the good news is that the breast tenderness is back Not as bad as it was, but it is there...

Thank you both for the responses... The 2ww is both exciting & annoying...

Will keep everyone posted... I might post/lurk over on the September/October boards also, but I will post here as soon as I know one way or the other!
