Icon12 Explaining Implantation ???

Hi Everyone! I am new to these boards after not having much luck on the WebMD boards. I have been following the Ovulation Calander that I created on their webiste in hopes of TTC #1. I think this cycle may have finally worked although I cannot test until 1/8. I noticed on my calander today that Sunday was my "Implantation Day" and I think it's ironic that the Monday after that I had horrible cramps, etc. that I never usually experience. Is this a sign of Impantation and a sign that I could possibly be PG? Any help would be greatly appriciated. I am still new to all this! If anyone could even explain Impantation I would appreciate that also!

OMG! Thanks for your feedback. I was checking the website every 10 minutes or so to see if anyone had replied. I can't wait to test. I am going to buy a test tonight and just hope I can refrain from using it! I may need support. Might have the DH hide it from me until this Sunday. But then I might get so crazed I'll just go and buy another one. Adorable pictuers BTW!!!! Thanks again!! I like this board and it's memebers already!

ok i'll do the best I can on explaining implantation, is when the fertilized egg implants into the uterine wall, thus you can have cramps/or sometimes spot(like a real light period) but the spotting and cramps should not last long or become profuse...
hth...

Okay - I have not experienced any bleeding yet. Does that HAVE to happen for Implantation to occur, or is that just another wonderful side effect. Thanks again for your help everyone!
