Default Progesterone Help!

Hi Everyone,
My husband and I are TTC#1 and we have been for almost two years. I started clomid 50mg last month with a progesterone level of 10.3. This month I went up to Clomid 100 mg and I had my progesterone tested a week ago and it was 22.2. It is KILLING ME!! Could this mean that I am pregnant? I am having pelvis cramps all day long but that is about it. Please help me!
Thank you!!!

Hi, Welcome to the boards. I am not knowledgable about Clomid at all but know there are girls lurking the boards that do know. Maybe they can share what they know with you. I do wish you lots of luck and hope you are indeed pregnant. Sending baby dust your way. Good luck and keep us posted with your results.

Default Re: Progesterone Help!

the general guidelines for Progest are as wide ranging as HCG but here is a basic overview...
Note: I take 200mg a day of progest suppositories as a caution against MC

Not pregnant: Progesterone during menstrual cycle

Day 1-14 >1 to 1.5 ng/ml

Day 15-28 2-28 ng/ml

Pregnancy levels : Progesterone during pregnancy

First Trimester 9-47 ng/ml
Second Trimester 17-147 ng/ml
Third Trimester 55-200 ng/ml

Most doctors like to see a minimum level of 10 ng/ml during the first few weeks of pregnancy. If a woman has low progesterone levels this can be an indication of a threatened miscarriage. If you are concerned about your progesterone level talk to your doctor for more information.
