Our CD Krystal stepped down last month We are sad to see her go. In her absence, I have become the Comm. Director. If you need anything let me know, and if I don't have the answer, I will find someone that does. Also I will be looking for someone to help me out around here, if you are interested, please let me know.

I am also looking for hosts on several of the boards. Look around & if you think it's something you would like to try, please let me know. I would like to see the boards revived!!!

Everything Pregnancy is sad to see our new moms leave but so HAPPY that their babies are here and healthy. Due In May 2011 is now Born in May 2011 and has a new home on the SK Parenting forums. Here's a link to their new home Born in May 2011 Congratulations to all the new May Mommas!


And with our new babies being born, we are ever expanding our due-in boards all the time. There are some new members to our Due in February 2011 board. Welcome all Mamas-to-be. We wish you all a happy and healthy nine months here. If you would like to host on your due-in board, there will be applications taken when your board gets busier and more members join.

~ INGREDIENTS ~
1 pt fresh strawberries, rinsed
One 16-oz frozen poundcake, not thawed
1 can (12 or 16 oz) whipped or creamy strawberry frosting

Preparation

1. Cut cake in half horizontally. With cookie cutter, cut out 4 rounds from each half; cut each round into 3 layers.

2. Spread 1 Tbsp frosting on each of 2 layers from one stack; top each with 4 strawberry slices. Reassemble, ending with unfrosted round. Repeat with remaining stacks.

3. Microwave remaining frosting on high, stirring often, to melt. Spoon on stacks. Chill 10 minutes to set. Top with rest of berries.You' ll need a 2 1/2-in. round biscuit or cookie cutter and a baking sheet. Slice enough strawberries to make 1 1/4 cups.

Different Takes:
Spread whipped cream, tinted pink, instead of frosting between layers; top stacks with a dollop.
Brush 1 side of each cake round with orange liqueur before adding frosting
Instead of frosting, use chocolate pudding. Top with whipped cream.
