If I have menstrual like cramps, could I still be...?

Hi Everyone! My name is Cheron and I have been trying to conceive forever. LOL---Seems like it. My husband is Army stationed in Iraq and we were really TTC while he was home for R&R (15 day leave from Iraq) Very hard to conceive when your husband is overseas for 12 months +

Timing wasn't the best while he was here. Our last night together was 4 days before my peak day.I was hoping that sperm really does live for up to five days.

Holding out hope, about four days ago I started cramping. My breasts are not sore, but they aren't always when I'm expect AF.

I have been ridiculously moody more moody than normal.....this is NOT normal for my regular cycles. I am getting food cravings...but I don't exactly think that it relates to pregnancy.

My question is....If I am cramping should I just assume that I am not pregnant? Do you get cramps when you are pregnant?

Yes I always get cramps when I am pregnant...They are a little different then af cramps to me...When are you do for af?I am also very very moody when I am pregnant.I hope you get your bfp!!!!!!I am also new to this board..Welcome.... Baby dust to you!!!!!!

Thank you for your response! My af is due in 4 days-so we will see...right now i am assuming I am not pregnant, but it's always hard to believe that you aren't until you get af. I sure hope I am pregnant because if I'm not, I don't get to try again for another 8 months!

I had cramps for the first three months of my pg. In june they felt like i was going to get my pd, and well i found out I was was pg. So you maybe pg.

Some people get cramps at the beginning. When are you do for AF? I sure hope that all these new symptoms are good news for you and your husband. Keep us posted!

I know _exactly_ how you feel. We tried to conceive over my husband's R&R back in January '06, which was not easy. We put off his leave until we could time it right, and my doctor had me on clomid for that month. It didn't work, though. I was sooo tense and anxious before he got home, and then horribly sad all over again when he had to go back. No wonder I didn't get pregnant! It was almost as hard on me & our son when he left after R&R than it was when he left at the beginning of the deployment.

So, I feel for you. I know where you're coming from. And I sincerely hope that it worked for you guys. Good Luck!!
