Hi all, I am new here and need some advice. I am 5 days late for my period, my breast are sore, but only around the nipple and bottom. They feel a little hard too. I want to test, but scared to death to see a negative again. My husband and I have been trying for over two years now. I have cramps like I normally would with my period too, another reason for just wanting to wait it out. My friend tells me to test, but I would like to wait a few more days. What do you all think? Thanks in advance for your help.

Sounds like you have a really "good" chance you might be pregnant. If your really 5 days late I say be brave and get a test. So you can feel more confident the the First Response EPT, since that is rated as one of the best.

Thanks for the advice. I have one more question. The cramps, they feel just like Im going to start, is this normal or am I probably getting ready to start? I have heard that you will still have cramps when you are pregnant, but these feel just like my period. This is the main reason I dont think that I am. Im just so scared to take the test.

Hard to say. There is only really one way to know. Taking a test will allow you to relax. If you're really late then I'd take the test. Otherwise you'll just keep waiting and worrying. Cramps aren't necessarily a negative sign. You'll have tons of different sensations throughout your pregnancy, so no worries there.

Well, I took the test, two of them. they were positive, and the doc's confirmed it yesterday. Im 5weeks along. thanks for all your advice and support.
