Default Three Under Three

Hi ladies! We are going to go for #4. Our last two are 18 months apart, and after worrying about the tight spacing, I have found it to be great. My biggest complaint is that I felt that I slept through a lot of our middle's babyhood during the pregnancy Anyway, we will probably try for the fourth so that we have another closer-type spacing since it has been good and since we're getting older. So, for those of you who have three spaced closely, I was wondering how it is? Three in diapers (potentially)? Three not walking so far or so quickly? Etc.?

I had 3 under 2.5, and it actually went pretty well. 3 in diapers is what it is...but you just get an assembly going and do one after the other and its done super quick!! The hardest times were keeping the oldest 2 off of the baby at first, bc they both just loved him to pieces and wanted to "help". Now, 1.5 years after he was born, the three of them are the best of friends and play together all day/every day! They just crack each other up, console each other when someone is sad, and just have so much fun in general. I can't say enough good things about their spacing!!! Its a lot of work, but their closeness/bond is SOOOO worth it!!

I had 3 under 3, and now we'll have 4 under 4 1/2 Its not bad, i find whats one more to add to the mix As for the diapering, my DD trained just over 2 and I am now working on training my DS1 (Day 2, no accidents so far!) so the most I've had is 2 in dipes...

I had 3 under 2. My 4th was born when my oldest was 4. I love the spacing. Diapers are easy...it's the potty training that kills me It's really not hard at all as long as you are organized.

Wow. Everyone. I was wondering how long after giving birth you became pregnant and how did you find out? Was it all planned or Oopses? I'm just asking because I have yet to recieve my period and my son is 8 weeks old. I'm not breastfeeding either. Thanks.

I'm baking #4 right now. #1 and #2 are 2.5yrs apart. #2 and #3 at 17m apart and #3 and #4 will be 17m apart.

It'll certainly be interesting, but it wasn't too bad last time, so I'm hoping it'll be the same. #4 seems a lot calmer than the other 3 are, lol.

As far as getting pg again, I've been pregnant on all 3 of their first birthdays, lol. Though I lost the baby I was pg with on my oldest's b-day.

I got pg with #3 when #2 was 9 months and pg with #4 when #3 was 9 months.

#1 is a surprise baby. #2 is planned. #3 is a surprise baby and #4 was ttc'd (even though dh had gotten a vasectomy 2 months before; they don't always work ).

#4 is due almost exactly 1 month before dd's 3rd birthday.

call me crazy, but I am hoping to br pg right now. DH and I DTD last night and I took an ovulation test just to see and it was positive. It was negative by this afternoon, so we definitely hit the right time, but only did it once and DH is out of town. I haven't even had an AF yet, I know that's not the brightest thing to do, I just want another so bad! For me and I want Emma to have a very close sibling so they have each other. I will test next week, should be interesting...

Hi! I have done 3 under 3 basicly twice.
My 5 younger kids are 6, 5 and under

my oldest is 11yrs older than my second (so I know it both sides of the fence LOL)
their ages
ds#1 18yrs old feb 1st
ds#2 6
ds#3 5
ds#4 4 next month
ds#5 2.5 yrs old
dd#1 7 weeks old

when my 5th son was born I had 4 boys 4 and under. My ds#2 turned 4 the month before ds#5 was born.

I have to say when I had 3 under 3 and a teenager I found it very difficult. But ds#4 was very colicy. Now that i have 3, 3 and under I don't find it so bad. But then again maybe I Have already lost my marbles LOL

I find the spacing between ds#5 and dd #1 is great. Although I have to admit I LOVE my 4 middle boys being so close in age... now that they are not babies. Love watching them together. I think I am going to love it with the baby girl added to the mix too.

I have 3 boys...Logan 12/14/93, Mason 12/27/02, Tanner 09/02/04 and one girl Bailey Grace 06/26/05. Bailey was supposed to be born on Tanner's first birthday but was born 3 1/2 months early. So my youngest 2 are actually less than 9 months apart. I just found out last week I'm pregnant again and due in August. I have all kinds of weird spacing going on. Im new to the board and so glad i found it. Thanks Jenn

Well, how about 4 that are 3 and under? The twins are 2 1/2, and little Karsten is not 2 months yet (so I'm already at 3 under 3) and I'm already pregnant again!

I currently have 7 children aged 9 and under.

I am currently still breastfeeding, and will continue to do so for as long as possible. This has been my 2nd successful breastfeeding attempt. The past 2 babies I had to exclusively pump for but for the last 4 babies fertility still returned around the 4-6 month mark.

We are still planning on at LEAST one more baby, so I could end up pregnant before the end of the year still. I am kind of secretly hoping to be pregnant between Feb and March in the attempts to hit a November due date, but I am not holding my breath for it. My other due date attempt will be for a July baby.

Good Luck everyone!
