Default Question about Morn Sickness & Spacing

Hey All,

I'm on the DIO board, just visiting y'all for the moment. And I have a question:

Have any of you dealt with fairly mean morning sickness but found that spacing your little ones closer helped reduce your symptoms?

I have two little guys (with one on the way), and with the first, I was so sick until 21 weeks. With the second, I was sick only until 14 weeks. Those two are 21 months apart. There will be almost exactly 4 years between #2 and #3, and I had the 21 week morning sickness again this go 'round. And I was just wondering if any of you had noticed a decrease in your symptoms and severity of the morn sickness. . .

Thanks!

Emily

I never had AWFUL morning sickness with any but I was nauseous for the first 12-14 weeks for all 3 of my previous pregnancies.

This time around I was pregnant again much more quickly (my littlest was not quite 9 mos) and I had almost no morning sickness at all.

I too was wondering if it has anything to do with the spacing.

I didn't have any morning sickness with my first, had it pretty bad for about 2-3 weeks with my second, and now with my third I've been getting sick on/off for almost my whole pregnancy but only to the point of throwing up once.

I have 12 months spacing between my first two children and will have about 16 1/2 months difference between my last two.

I had no morning sickness at all with ds, this time around i was nauseous for the entire 1st trimester. I dont know if the boy/girl thing has anything to do with it. When I asked the ob early on, he said it could be a girl and he was right, so i dont know what determines our morning sickness.
