How many children do you want?

Do you want them all close in age as well?

I'm due with baby #4 in early November. All of my kids are close in age (12 months between 1 and 2, 16 months between 2 and 3 and there will be about 22 months between 3 and 4). I'm thinking that I'll be done after this but my fiance wants to ttc soon after #4 comes. I'm still on the fence though. Having 4 kids sounds perfect to me and I don't know if I could handle 5.

We made the decision to start TTC for #4 right after Tallulah was born, now here we are, 7 weeks pregnant, and she'll be 6 months old tomorrow. 4 sounded like the perfect family for us for the time being at least (we wouldn't say no to another long down the road), but as it turns out, we're having twins! I really think after this, we're done.

I thought 5 would be the perfect number for us, but I still feel like we aren't done yet! I kind of hope I can have another set of twins to finish off the family, just bc that way we won't have one kid alone (which is a concern for me after having all my other children in "groups"). Dh and I are pretty sure my uterus can only take one more pregnancy after all its been through, so I guess I need to start praying that lightening will strike our family twice with another set of twins!!

As for having them close in age, I would LOVE it! I adore having mine all as close as they are (even with all the chaos that is an everyday part of our life now) and I am hoping that I get my first ppaf back one of these months! We are really hoping to start ttc in September and hopefully we can succeed at having our last child(ren) less than 2 years apart from the rest.

I too thought 4 was enough, and ours are all really close in age. But, now we are thinking maybe just one more!!!

I want 4. When we first got married dh said no kids. Within 6 months I had him convinced and we got pg shortly after. Then I was able to convince him to have another close in age and we now have 2 boys 13 months apart. I love the spacing and they play so well together. I really want another one, but at the moment DH says he cant handle another one so I geuss we will wait a few years. But after waiting if I dont get twins I will have them closely spaced again

I always said one but here we are awaiting number two!! I was hoping for a boy this time but got another princess instead! I would love one more to try for a boy but not for a long while yet!

I always said 6 but since we are getting #4 & #5 all in one shot with this pregnancy I think these babies will complete our family.

This little one is our 3rd and we are already feeling the pressure to make it our last (mostly from my side of the family - his side has big families - 8 kids on average). I'm not sure I'm done - I thought about getting my tubes tied, but I think that is a no-go - I'm not 100 percent so I hate to do anything permanent. I think 5 has a nice ring to it. *smile*

Well, I'm pg with #5, I don't think though that this will be my last unless it is twins. My hubby has talked about having 6 kids for the last 2-3 yrs, so I'm sure he'll get his wish.
