Ft. Hood Shooting
I don't actually live on base but I live in the town where this tragedy occurred. It is so crazy. There are police, fire, and ambulances swarming everywhere. They locked down the post and parents couldn't get to their children in schools and day cares until about 8:30 pm. I am in shock this happened so close to my home. I'm still waiting to hear from some friends.

After 4 years, several thousand dollars, many invasive tests, an ovarian ectopic pregnancy,
a miscarriage, one surgery, a slew of fertility drugs, countless painful injections,
in vitro fertilization, 2 weeks of bedrest, a 5 week hospital stay,
an emergency c-section, a ruptured placenta, and a lot of heart ache,
my dreams have finally come true.
And I'd do it all over again... and again, and again, and again.
