Sleeping--where and with what?
Leah is still very happily in her crib. She has made it longer than both of my other two kids and I don't see it changing anytime soon . I LOVE having a child who likes their crib, and likes to go to bed!
She has had a "lovey" blanket w/a head type thing for a few months now, and she has slept with that and a blanket. Now she is adding to her collection. She has swiped one of Hannah's old baby blankets w/a silky edge that was in the doll stuff and has claimed that as hers. She also has a couple stuffed animals and a baby. Her newest thing this week is after she drinks her evening bottle of milk she won't give me the bottle back. It's empty, but she insists on sleeping with it. I finally gave in and just let her have it b/c she would just scream "baba!" forever, when she usually goes down w/out a peep. So now I snatch it for a minute and rinse it out and give it back, lol.
I'm curious what everyone else's little ones are sleeping with at this point. It's so funny to see her load up her stuff and try and carry it all. When we pick her up in the morning she is waiting with everything she can carry in her arms, lol. Hannah went through a stage of sleeping w/many things, but it was not until she was older. She slept w/14 very specific stuffed animals and she came into our bed in the middle of the night every night and brought them ALL w/her, in multiple trips. We could not go back to sleep until all 14 were accounted for in our bed. It was brutal! I'm hoping Leah's collection doesn't grow too much more . I still use her Angel Care monitor, which does make me feel better about her sleeping w/such a big bunch of stuff now!
