I just wanted to share some wisdom. When I was preg I started out 5' 10" and size 8, I worked out 6 days a week and ran 5 miles a day, I was in great shape, and of course planned to gain only 40 pounds (at the absolute most) oh but I ended up gaining a lovely 54 pounds, mainly due to the fact that I had toxemia the last 5 weeks, but I was TERRIFIED about stretch marks and of course the weight. I knwo they have that cream ou there but I read and heard from friends (that have NO stratch marks) to use Baby Oil Gel with Aloe & Vitamin E. I used it and had no stretch marks. It's kinda messy and oily so I would just wera an old t-shirt and sports bra when I used it. Also I think breast feeding takes the wight off. I lost 45 of my 54 pounds the first 3 weeks, and that was before I even started working out, my doc was shocked. But as soon as I quit breasfeeding I gained like 6-7 pounds. SUCKS!!! But def worth it!!! Hope that helps!
