First off hello everyone! My names Jess and im really new here..this is my first post.

One of my best friends(even though we're in diff states now..we still talk/text everyday) is now deciding to get pregnant..I'm 7 months along now...she has openly said she has "baby envy"..her words not mine. I'm just wondering if its normal for me to be a little bit annoyed..? We're both only 21 too...I've been married for 2 years and we have a nice home, very stable income and a whole lotta love to give so im not that worried...though i wish i was a few years older..i wouldnt change having my baby girl right now but i would change my age if i could. Anyways, she is waiting for her divorce to be final..which will be in like a month or so. Well she has a new bf that shes been with for 2 months...if that...and they're are planning a baby now!!!! She says its because of his age...he's 40. They are a couple that is always on the go...they like to just go do things alot...dinner...movies...bars...and even weekend getaways. I told her that all that will change when a baby comes along. I also dont think she realizes how much responsibility it is...i tell her its a whole lot more than just having a cute little thing to play with. I saw her hold a baby a few years back and lets just say it was scary LOL. She doesnt have much experience with kids so i dont think she even knows what to expect even a little bit. Im definitely not a know it all but i have a biiiig family and ive taken care of lots of babies...i know the basics...but i DONT know what its like to be a mom just yet...2 more months She also just got a new job she really likes...she says its alot of responsibility and at the end of the day shes a bit stressed sometimes. My pregnancy has went by awesome so far...no sickness..not gaining weight anywhere besides my belly...well maybe my thighs haha..and most importantly everything looks good with the baby I dont think she realizes that not all pregnancies go by so smoothly...my cousin, sister, and a friend all say that they were absolutely miserable. She complains about gaining weight right now too. She's never been fat at all in my opinion but shes one of those people who can get real skinny then gain weight back really quick...

Anyways..thank u if you actually read that...Give me your advice on if I'm crazy for being a little irritated or you see where im coming from...i also need to know what i should tell her
