Default Calculating EDD?

Hi! I wanted to know if anyone knew if it was possible for an u/s to be five weeks off. I have kind of been in a dilemma because I am not sure of my LMP and am not sure when I ovulate becuse I have very long cycles. I thought I had conceived in June, but according to my u/s( I have had two) I conceived in July. If I had conceived in June I would be five weeks ahead of what there are saying. I am just really worried that my u/s are very off and I could in fact be that much further along, or is it not possible for an u/s to be off that much without them figuring it out? Please Help!!

Well it's kinda hard to figure out your EDD if you don't know when your LMP was. So then I would go by the u/s edd.... Early u/s's are the best way to find out an EDD... U/s later on are not a correct as the early ones.

From what I've read, u/s are usually accurate for dating a pregnancy within 7-10 days, so it would be pretty unusual for them to be 5 weeks off.

Did you have pregnancy symptoms in June, and if so, are you sure they were pg symptoms? When did you get a positive pg test?

No, I had no pregnancy symptoms in June but then again I honestly never have had any. No morning sickness just a little bit of tender breasts. I thought I had a period on 6/30 but after reading some information I am not sure now if it was just implantation bleeding. I didn't do a pregnancy test until 8/17 and it was positive. There would have been only one time in June I would have conceived so that's why if that is really when I conceived my u/s would have to be about four weeks further ahead than what they are saying I am.
