How do you get your eye whites whiter?

Does anyone know how to get the whites in your eyes whiter? I've heard all kinds of crazy stuff... even putting diluted lemon juice in your eyes. That doesn't sound like fun.

Anyone have any dietary tips and/or products that help to make eye whites whiter?
