I guess Lilah hates naps and refuses to take them. It's so frustrating. She's a great sleeper at night, goes 11-12 hours and only wakes up once in there to eat, at a predictable time. But for the life of me I can't get her to take a nap during the day unless we're out and she falls asleep in her carseat, or in her swing. I can nurse her to sleep and she'll pop her eyes open the minute I put her down in her crib or p&p. I'm no stranger to CIO, but she just refuses to give in. I have a sling and a mai tei (sp?) but it's 100 here in TX and even though the house is air conditioned, carrying a baby around in a sling even in the house is too hot to even think about. Most of the day it's not a problem, she's usually OK wherever I put her, but come this time of night, when she's just bleary eyed and cranky and exhausted but refusing to sleep, she doesn't want me to put her down at all. Which sucks because this is the time of day when I'm getting to be my tiredest and needing to get the older ones dinner, etc. I never went through this with the other 2.

Just wondering if anyone else can commiserate... Has anyone been through this and then they eventually did come around to naps?
