Hello ladies!

I haven't been here since April I think and I wasn't the most frequent of posters on the Due in board, so hopefull someone remembers me. I had a really hard time adjusting to life with 2 kids after Keigan was born. While many things, like breastfeeding, were easier, trying to balance life and find time for myself was a real struggle. Then when things seemed to be falling into place, we were off to Canada for a month for my sister's wedding and visiting family. It was wonderful, but my parents live in the middle of nowhere and only have dial-up, so I was pretty much disconnected from everything (which was actually pretty relaxing, once I got over the stress of not being able to go online everyday!!). Then my Mom came back with us to Japan for 2 weeks and when she left, I had to get used to taking care of my kids all by myslef again after 6 weeks of help. I finally reconnected to Zeon's Born in board a few weeks ago and thought I would come over here too.

So a quick update on Keigan: He was 6 months on Wednesday. He's not the chunk that Zeon was at this age. He's about 7.5kg (that's approx 16-17lbs I think). Breastfeeding is still going well and we just started some rice the other day, which he seems to love. He's got 2 bottom teeth. He was a lump until about 10 days ago! He had rolled once around the end of August and then nothing. Suddenly 10 days ago, he started to flip himself over everytime I put him down and was pulling himself around the room within a couple of days. Then he was up on his knees. He's not quite crawling yet, but he's close. It amazes me the change in such a short time.

Anyway, I hope to stick around better this time. I'm actually going to be busier than before as I'm starting to pick up a couple of my former lessons starting this week. It's only 3 hours a week, but they are well-paying lessons and the extra cash will be nice!!

How are all of you and your LOs doing?? I took a quick look at the picture thread and there are some adorable babies on here.
