Icon7 Updates

It's time to hear about how everyone is doing!

Kae and Melli are doing great. Kae is going to nursery school three half-days a week and is doing really well. She is always getting stickers from her teachers for doing a great job cleaning up.

Melli is starting to come into her own. She doesn't speak much but definitely gets her point across. She is starting to follow Kae around and copy her.

As for me, I am a little over 8 weeks pg with #3. So far so good. I have been feeling pretty good (some days better than others) and just counting the days till I am out of the dreaded first trimester!

Here's a quick update-
Sophie's almost halfway through kindergarten. She loves it and has made friends, and her reading is getting great!
Lucy and Sadie are 2.5, and can be tiny terrors one minute, and totally sweet the next. It's neat seeing the differences and similarities between them.
Goodwin will be 6 months on Friday. He's a huge, happy boy. He's got three teeth already, and the girls make him giggle. Hard to believe a year ago I was just getting over morning sickness, etc...

Hope everyone has a great holiday season!

I love updates!!!

Elizabeth turned 2 a few weeks ago and boy has the attitude to prove she is two She's so much fun and loves to be the center of attention. We think she'll be a star someday Hmmm she's talking up a storm, climbs onto everything and has such a great little personality. So much fun, tiring but fun.

David is 9 months old today (Dec 7th). Boy how the time flies. He's doing great, will be walking anyday He's into everything and loves loves loves following his big sister everywhere she goes. He says a few words, dada, daddy, bye-bye, mama and loves making noises. He's not as talkative as Izzie was but still makes sure his voice is heard He's such a sweet boy most of the time.

Hi Everyone!
Here's our updates:

Alex is almost 2 1/2 now...where has the time gone? He is talking up a storm and is one of the most active kids I've ever seen. His new thing is to jump from the coffee table to the couch to the love seat back to the coffee table. Fun!! He's in 2T clothes, so about average size I'm guessing, except he's still pretty skinny. We are starting potty training since they informed us about a month ago that potty training was going really well (we were like "what potty training?") so he now goes pee in the potty about twice a day for us at home, and pretty consistently at daycare. We weren't in a hurry, but since he's into it, we might as well encourage it!!

Abby is 14 months, and is just recently starting to talk some. She says things like "hi", "dog", "mama", and "dada"...that's about it! She is also very active and tries to do everything Alex does. He is her favorite person for sure! They are really two peas in a pod!! She's still in 12 month clothes since she is still pretty little, but she's a smart kid for sure!!

I'm doing fine as well. I'm leaving for Boston and Maine on Wednesday for a trip with just me, my mom, and my sister, so I'm really looking forward to that (except I'm afraid to fly). DH and I booked another Disney cruise for November of 2006...without the kids, so we are really excited!! Only 11 more months!!!

That's about it from here! Next?
Happy Holidays to everyone!!

We were supposed to go on a Disney Cruise next Nov. with my whole family (to celebrate my parents' 40th anniversary). Instead we're going to some resort in the Dominican Republic. dh and I have already decided that we're gonna go in Dec. 2007 (when our youngest will be about 1 1/2).

Andrew will be 3 in less than a month. He is completely potty trained...including nights. He's definitely hit the '3' stage, pushing and testing his limits. There's a lot of discipline some nights in our house. He knows his 'ABC' song and many others. His favorite movies are Shrek and Shrek 2. We've already watched each of them once this morning and are starting on the 2nd viewing of Shrek 2 right now (we're home because of an ice storm early this morning).

We're still TTC #2. We're about 15 months into it now. We're not trying to find out what's not working right because insurance won't cover anything infertility related.

It's good to see updates from everyone.

Hello everyone!

We are doing well too. Ryan turned 3 last month and is just a great little kid .. most of the time. He certainly has his 3-year old moments but it's manageable. He is in a daycare/preschool now and is doing great. He has made so many friends and just loves being there all day. We are working on the potty-training but it's not progressing very well. He will pee on the potty when we put him on there, at home or school, but just won't tell us when he needs to go. I guess he will when he's ready.

Meghan is great too. Getting so big! She will be 9 months old on Christmas Eve. The girl refuses to crawl though! Well, not totally refuses but won't go anymore than 3 or 4 crawls in a row. Then she plops down and pulls herself the rest of the way. Loves to stand though so maybe she will skip the whole crawling thing but she isn't close to walking either. She has 4 teeth and working on 2 more. She is a smart cookie too .. at least it seems like it to us. As long as she isn't sick, she is just smiley and happy. Adores her big brother too! Fortunately he gets a kick out of her also. She has really completed our family and just makes my heart melt every time she smiles at me!

Here is a recent pic .. it's an attempt at a Christmas card picture:

Hi yall! Congratulations Dana! Good luck Katherine! Everyone's kiddos are so adorable!

Anthony is 20 months. He doesn't talk as well as Emma did at the same age, but he's getting there. His pronunciation of words isn't the greatest, but he understands so much and tries to put several words together at a time. He is such a ham! He knows how to do silly things that will get us to laugh (like taking a bite out of an apple, and then letting go and just holding it with his teeth and looking around the room waiting for us to laugh). He is so different than Emma in that regard. She is always so serious. He is really aware of Christmas this year and gets a kick out of driving around to look at lights. He gets upset when it's time to come home.

I'm halfway through the master's of accountancy degree and will take the CPA exam sometime next fall. Then DH is going back to school to get his first bachelor's. We are not planning on having any more children and will most likely make a permanent decision on that sometime next year.

Hey Everyone! Wow, long time no see!!!

Tirzah is now 26mths and is just so much fun. She has been fully potty trained now for 3mths or so...we haven't changed a poopy diaper on her since she was 15mths. Getting her to pee in the potty though was a little trickier. She'd run to the potty AFTER she had peed and say POTTY POTTY. She was a little slow maybe on the talking end but is doing great now and will say ANYTHING you say. I said CRAP the other day and don't exactly want her saying it and she kinda caught that I didn't want that and she was saying "CAP! Oh CAP! CAP mommy!" allllllllllllll day LOL! SHe adores her baby brother and loves to help change his diaper, give him and bath and wants to put him in her dolly stroller really bad but Mommy doesn't

Zion is now 6mths old and is such a happy smiliey baby. He's the best. He's super chunky and happy as can be. He's now sitting, no teeth, and no where near crawling that I can see. Tirzah was super slow on crawling and teeth so there are no expectations here

We are also pg with #3 and are simply estatic!!! Due date is Sept 20. We were trying and decided this month to use the herbal route Maca. We've only ever conceived on CLomid and my ob was going to start that in Feb but I decided to try Maca Root. It was $6 and you just take 500-1000mg (I did 1000mg) a day from cd1 (I forget I got it cd 2-4 somewhere in there) right until you get your bfp. For me it was the first month. So we are really excited that we didn't need the clomid my ob will be shocked that I got pg without it! Zion and baby will be 14.5 mths apart. We also are not finding out the gender this time. I agreed to that before we conceived as dh has wanted to NOT know for Tirzah and Zion but I couldn't hold out LOL. I'm actually really looking forward to the surprise and since we have boy and girl already we are completely neutral (though dressing a girl is a lot of fun. ).

We moved into our new house just 2 wks before Zion was born so we have lots of room. Dh started his own construction company this year as a framer and is doing great. He loves what he does so thats fun.

My sister and her husband and three children just left today. They flew here from New Brunswick, Canada for a wk, it was a blast!!! So its kinda sad they are gone. Guess thats all

Danaro, your kids are so beautiful! LOVE the hair!!!

Congratulations to all the new preggos and good luck to those ttc!

It's been so long since I've checked in. I miss seeing how everyone is doing. Chace is 4 1/2 months old now. Time sure does fly. He's almost sitting up on his own now and is such a ham. He loves to smile and laugh, and is such a people person. He likes to go shopping and look at everything while sitting in his stroller. He is always looking around to see what's going on. Lately he's been having a hard time sleeping. Every time I put him in his crib his eyes shoot open and he starts to cry. We're working on it.

I've been keeping busy getting ready for a scrapbook convention. My dh and I designed some scrapbook paper and are going to be selling it the CHA trade show in Vegas next week. I'm so excited.

Here are some pics of Chace and me...
