Had my little girl!
Hey Ladies. I got back from the hospital last night. I was praying for a VBAC but after much consulting with my MW about my risks and such, the decision was made to have a scheduled c/s if I didnt go into labor by the 25th. I hoped and prayed but labor did not occur, so on the 25th we headed to L&D. I was prepped for surgery. At 4:19pm, my little girl was born. She was 7lbs 11oz and 20 inches. She has long fingers and toes, and IMO looks nothing like her brother, but tons of people said they are splitting image of each other. LOL She had dark brown, long frowy hair and is just a beauty. We are so proud to have her in our lives and our 'oopsie' turned into the best thing in our lives besides our little Braedon.
She had some problems latching on, but shes doing much better now and is nursing like a champ, sharing nicely with her brother. LOL I notice Kara posted some pics in the other thread of when she was born so Ill just post a couple ones since shes been home.
Also, Braedon is doing really well with her. Sometimes he has issues with her nursing when he wants to nurse but for the most part he is very patient with waiting his turn and he loves to kiss her, hug and hold her and tell her all about her eyes, nose, mouth, toes, etc, etc. Things are a bit tougher with 2 kids, but so far only really nap and bedtime have been hard.  Ok enough rambling, heres some pics. lol

Congratulations on your beautiful little girl! It sounds like it was a much better experience than Braedon's birth. And she's so much bigger! It's good to hear that things are going well.

Congratulations!!!! She is a doll! Is her name Makenzie? When you get time, try to stop by the siblings less than 24 months apart board. It's a little slow though. Hope you heal quickly!

Congratulations!!! And I know what you mean about "oopsies"! I can't imagine my life without Abby now, and it does get easier after time to have them close together! She is beautiful!!

Congratulations! She is beautiful! I'm very glad to hear that everything is going so well so far! Two is definitely a world harder than 1, but at 2 months it is already starting to show signs of getting just a tad bit easier.
