Blast from the past

Hi, guys!

Sorry I've been MIA (I have serious technical issues with this site--each post takes like 5 minutes to come up or doesn't at all so I usually leave in a huff without having posted! Grrrr). Anyway, I'm so glad to read about the new babies and PGs. Congrats all around!

I have a BIG surprise...I'm PG! And the BIGGEST surprise is it was done the good ol' fashioned way.

I actually had done all my pre-IVF testing and prep work (even have a stockpile of meds) and I figured I might as well dig out the old fertility monitor and see what my body was up to. Well, the first cycle of trying we got lucky.

I never in a million years expected that! (It was even better news since we no longer have IVF coverage!). Thus, we refer to the fetus as Freebie.

After 7 (yes, I know) u/s I'm starting to think this little shocker might stick around...or anyway, so far so good! My EDD is Oct. 23. A few weeks before Ben turns two.

Speaking of Ben, he's doing great. He's a big boy for his age (almost 17 months)--full of sweetness and charm. Already a lady's man. He definitely is the joy of my life!

What terrific news, Jen. You must be so thrilled (and to get to keep all that money is just amazing, isn't it?). Anyway, I am so happy for you, and also so happy to hear from you!

Congratulations, Jen!!! Yes, I'm crawling out of the rafters. I haven't even peeked at this site forever but things are slow at work... That is so exciting - and natural?!?! Wouldn't it figure? I worry about the second time around, too - will it be like the first or will I get a pleasant suprise! Anyways, take care of that "freebie"! Congrats, Again!

Congratulations Jen! I have so many friends who struggled to have #1 and then got pg with #2 in an instant. How wonderful! Gotta love biology!

Seven u/s!!!...I'm jealous, I won't get to see my lil one again until I go into labor.
