My insurance dont cover any IUD's but I am willing to pay for the Mirena.

Is anyone using or had used it? Is there any Side effects. I read about some but I would like to know from first hand experience.

This link may help! ? about IUD I had the Mirena, and it made me bleed for 2 1/2 months straight, then my body rejected it. I know some people love them though! You could always try it and see how it works for you. My insurance covered it except for a copay, so it was not too risky for me to try it.

Mine caused constant pain, punctured my uterus and migrated outside my uterus between the uterus and bladder, and had to be removed surgically. So, from my firsthand experience, I'm NOT a fan. I'm very lucky it didn't ruin my fertility altogether.
