Because I purchase my meat in bulk, I have to break it down into smaller portions. To help the meat last longer in the freezer, I purchased the Ziplock Vacuum Starter Kit to vacuum seal the bags.

The Starter Kit included 1 vacuum sealer pump & 3 quart size vacuum sealer freezer bags.

Pros:
~no batteries
~small
~lightweight
~dishwasher safe
~additional bags were a little cheaper than competitor's bags

Cons:
~have to purchase special bags designed for this particular sealer
~if you vacuum too much, some juice will come out the sealing valve
~did an adequate job
~some bags had air in them after a week in the freezer

After carefully reviewing this product, I would say it did not live up to my expectations. I would try a similar product that was on the market.
